The real job of a car parts wholesaler or distributor is to have the part their customer wants on the shelf at the right time. What makes that sustainable is cutting out intermediate layers and working directly with the manufacturer – the advantage factory-direct wholesale car parts suppliers offer. This guide takes you step by step through working with MTJ Auto on a wholesale basis.
Who we work with as wholesale car parts suppliers
We sell to businesses only:
- Car parts wholesalers
- Distributors and importers
- Parts shops and motor factors
Our catalogue covers more than 2,000 products fitting over 30 car makes. Covering a significant share of the lines on your list from one supplier simplifies both order tracking and freight – which is what a motor factors supplier should deliver.
1. Send your list and we will match it
The quickest start is to send the product list you already hold. We match an Excel, CSV or PDF file prepared with OEM numbers or your own stock codes against our catalogue, then send you the lines we can supply, their stock status and our price quote. No order commitment is required for this service.
2. Build a Quote List from the catalogue
While browsing the catalogue, you can add the products you are interested in to the Quote List and send them all at once; our quote comes back to you. You can also download product lists from the catalogue as Excel or PDF, making it easy to share them with your team and import them into your own system.
3. Mixed orders and shipping
We have no minimum quantity per product. You can combine different groups such as pedal rubbers, windscreen washer jets, gear knobs, sun visor brackets and clips in a single mixed shipment. We have 95% stock availability for catalogue products. We work with EXW, FCA, FOB, CPT, CIF and DAP delivery terms.
4. Verify with samples
Before a production order, we send samples of the products you select. Checking dimensions, fitting and packaging in your own warehouse lets you sell to your customer with confidence from the first shipment.
5. Your own brand as you grow
For aftermarket car parts distributors that buy certain lines regularly and in high volumes, private label car parts production is the next step: the product and packaging carry only your brand. For high-volume lines, a mould dedicated to your company can also be opened; tooling investment and production terms are assessed separately based on order volume.
